Also in the 1950s, Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club, "a variety show featuring a cast of teenage performers known as the Mouseketeers" (Crowther, “Walt Disney”) began and was an instant success. Walt Disney also created both the popular series Zorro and Davy Crockett (Crowther, “Walt Disney”).
